☝️Upwarding #73: Selfie Tips, Gender Job Differences, Organ Donations

Picture

Better selfies: 1) avoid distortions – take from a) further away, b) above your eye level, and c) using the back (NOT selfie) camera, 2) use diffuse/indirect natural light (e.g. standing close and facing a window) – like the handsome dude above.

Health/Wellness

Many junk/ processed foods are high carb AND high fat AND low fiber (donuts, chips, cookies, etc).  This combination makes foods hyper-palatable but is almost non-existent in nature.

Money

Gender does exist in job choices.  I used AI to summarize characteristics of jobs predominantly held by men and women.

For men the jobs tend to involve physical labor, outdoor tasks, and the operation of machinery.  Training is technical and revolves around safety.

For women the jobs involve intensive interpersonal interaction, strong communication skills, and contribute significantly to the well-being of others.  Training is formal and often involves a degree or certification and ethical standards.

Random

If you need to get a tissue or organ donation, pick mom over dad.  A likely reason why blew my mind: mothers incorporate cells from you as a fetus and thus, years after birth, still have your cells living within them and incorporated into their organs.
